Exam Invigilators

Predominantly: November, January, March, and July
                                    Typically, 8:00 am to midday and/or 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm
Salary:                        Grade B Point 1 £10.50 per hour

 


The Role

The Corsham School is currently seeking individuals to join its existing team of examination invigilators.  The role will involve the supervision of students in both internal and external examinations under the guidance of the Examinations Officer and the Examinations and Data Administrator.

Interested candidates should be able to demonstrate the following:

  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • A flexible approach to work
  • Ability to relate to students yet maintain an air of authority
  • Ability to communicate with students and colleagues clearly and accurately
  • Ability to work to predetermined instructions
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Reliability and punctuality
  • Common sense and initiative
  • Good general availability - ideally a minimum of two-and-a-half days a week, particularly in May, June, and July, although if you cannot commit to this amount of time but are still interested in the role then please contact our Exams Officer (email address below) to discuss further.
