The Extended Project Qualification is equivalent to an AS level.

The Extended Project is a major piece of individual project work in which you will have the opportunity to investigate a topic that is of particular interest to you. We have timetabled and taught lessons should you chose to complete the EPQ. Students who chose to take the EPQ often have a passion or interest in the topic they decide to research or design, outside of their A level studies. The project can be presented as a written report or an artefact which is based on research. In the past we have had a range of topics:

• A study of the Chernobyl disaster through dance
• How to design a sustainable new art block for the school
• Hatshepsut and the impact of female leaders
