Actual Salary: £7,521
Hours of Work: 15 hours per week 8.00 am to 4 pm (2 days per week)
Contract Type: Permanent, Term-Time Only (Part-Time)
The Role
We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and highly motivated Art & DT Technician to assist within our Design, Technology and Art department.
Responsible to the Curriculum Team Leader, the role's purpose is to support all teaching staff in the DT and Art department. The post holder will prepare and provide all materials for lessons, ensure stock levels are maintained, ensure all health and safety regulations are adhered to, undertake administration tasks, cleaning of equipment and facilities and make regular checks of all art and DT equipment. The post holder is required to liaise with other Technician team members to ensure consistency across the department.
The successful applicant must be willing to be trained in the operation and maintenance of DT equipment and machinery. The DT tasks include the requirement for occasional heavy lifting of materials/resources.
