About Us

Corsham Sixth Form is a vibrant, friendly and inclusive learning community where students are supported to achieve their academic goals while developing the confidence, independence and skills needed for life beyond school.

We are committed to helping every student feel valued, supported and well-informed about the opportunities available to them after sixth form, whether that is university, an apprenticeship, employment or further training.

A Learning Community That Supports Success

At Corsham Sixth Form, we encourage students to take ownership of their learning and make the most of the opportunities available to them. Our courses challenge students to think independently, explore subjects in greater depth and develop a genuine passion for learning.

Alongside excellent teaching and academic support, students benefit from smaller class sizes, strong relationships with staff and a culture that celebrates ambition, curiosity and personal growth.

More Than Qualifications

While academic success is important, we believe that sixth form should be about more than achieving grades. Students have access to a wide range of opportunities that enrich their experience, including:

  • Weekly enrichment activities
  • Leadership and ambassador roles
  • Work experience opportunities
  • Volunteering and community projects
  • The Extended Project Qualification (EPQ)
  • Careers education, guidance and destination support

These experiences help students develop the confidence, skills and independence that universities, employers and apprenticeship providers value.

Outstanding Pastoral Support

Student wellbeing sits at the heart of everything we do. Every student belongs to a tutor group and is supported by an experienced tutor who provides guidance throughout their sixth form journey. Our pastoral team works closely with students and families to ensure that support is available whenever it is needed.

We are proud of the caring and supportive atmosphere within Corsham Sixth Form and believe that students achieve their best when they feel safe, happy and supported.

Becoming a Role Model

As senior members of the school community, sixth form students are encouraged to lead by example and make a positive contribution to school life.

There are opportunities to support younger students through mentoring and reading programmes, take on leadership responsibilities and contribute to the wider community. These experiences help students develop valuable skills while making a meaningful difference to others.

Your Future Starts Here

Whether you are aiming for university, an apprenticeship or employment, Corsham Sixth Form provides the support, challenge and opportunities needed to help you achieve your goals.

We look forward to welcoming you to our community and supporting you throughout the next stage of your journey.
