Free Coach from Bristol Temple Means Train Station. Falmouth University will be putting on two coaches for our Open Days on the 24t October and 25 November. It leaves Bristol at 08:30 and will then leave Falmouth 16:30/45. This is open to all students and a parent/carer/friend. Places are limited on a first-come-first-served bases. 


Most students are based at our main Southampton campus, centred on Highfield – the University’s academic heart, with key study spaces, our main library and Students’ Union in green surroundings. You may also visit a specialist campus at the Open Day, depending on your subject.

We'll also be hosting our Online Open Week between 2-6 November 2026. Academic staff and current students will be answering your questions live, with Student Support Sessions on topics like finance, careers, sports and societies, and accommodation.

Inside a Global Law Firm

Most students hear about law firms. Very few get the chance to spend 90 minutes with one.

Year 12 and Year 13 students the opportunity to hear directly from Mishcon de Reya, a leading international law firm with offices across the UK, Europe, Asia and the US. Known for its work in areas such as disputes, private client, real estate, corporate law and innovation, the firm works on high-profile cases and projects for clients around the world.

During the session, representatives from Mishcon de Reya will explain what life in a global law firm is really like, the range of careers available within the legal profession, and the different routes into the industry.

Importantly, they will also discuss the Solicitor Apprenticeship pathway. This increasingly popular route allows students to qualify as a solicitor while working and earning a salary, without needing to attend university first.

Whether you're already considering a career in law or simply curious to learn more about the profession, this is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable insight and ask questions directly to industry professionals.
