SEND/Disadvantaged Enhanced Learning Provision Teacher (English and Maths)

The Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEND Maths and English Teacher to join our SEND Department, supporting students with a wide range of special educational needs. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful difference by delivering high-quality, inclusive teaching that is carefully tailored to meet the individual needs of learners with Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs). The role will focus on helping students achieve academic progress while also developing independence, confidence, and essential life skills in a supportive and nurturing environment.

As part of this role, you will plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons across Maths and English, adapting your teaching strategies to suit a range of developmental stages, abilities, and learning styles across KS2 and KS3. You will play a key role in creating a calm and inclusive classroom where every student feels safe, valued, and able to thrive. Working closely with teaching assistants and colleagues, you will ensure a consistent and supportive approach to learning, while using assessment and data effectively to inform planning and track progress against individual targets and EHCP outcomes.

The successful candidate will be committed to supporting students’ social, emotional, and behavioural development, helping them build resilience and positive relationships. You will contribute to EHCP reviews and maintain accurate records, ensuring all statutory and school requirements are met. This role is ideal for a flexible and reflective practitioner who is passionate about inclusive education and motivated to support young people in reaching their full potential and preparing for future pathways.
