Working Hours: 8.30am to 3pm Mon to Fri (Term-Time plus TD Days)
Salary: NJC Grade F Points 8 – 12
Actual Salary: £18,707 to £19,944
Full Time Equivalent Salary: £26,824 to £28,598
The Role
The Corsham School Academy Group seeks to appoint someone who is reliable, confident and comfortable in delivering pre-prepared lessons and creating a purposeful and orderly environment in which students can complete the work during teaching staff absence. You may be required to accompany students on trips, and you will be asked to support the Learning Support department and Behaviour Centre in addition to other administrative duties when you are not supervising. Cover Supervisors are not required to plan, prepare or mark class work.
We want to hear from you if you have an interest in teaching or have had previous experience as a Teaching Assistant, volunteer or youth leader with secondary aged children. The successful applicant will be a dynamic and enthusiastic individual who is able to make the significant contribution required to secure the very best outcomes for all students at The Corsham School. As part of our Induction Programme, full training will be given on our classroom procedures and protocols.
This is a responsible and rewarding role and can be a great stepping stone into teacher training.
