September 2026 Cohort - Induction Day (23rd June 2026)

Our Induction Day is designed to give you a real insight into life at The Corsham Sixth and help you feel confident and prepared for starting with us in September. It’s an exciting opportunity to experience our community first-hand and begin your transition into sixth form study.

What to Expect

Throughout the day, you will:

• Experience a typical sixth form timetable, structured to reflect a normal day
• Meet your teachers and learn more about your chosen subjects
• Take part in A Level taster sessions
• Explore key aspects of sixth form life, including Core Sessions, Enrichment, Super-Curricular opportunities, EPQ and Core Maths
• Meet other students and start building friendships ahead of September

Key Information

The day runs from 8:40am to 3:00pm. Please arrive by 8:30am and report to the Sixth Form Centre, where you will be registered.

Dress Code and Lunch

Students are welcome to attend in non-uniform, in line with sixth form dress expectations.

As we are a cashless school, we recommend bringing a packed lunch. However, students may leave the site at lunchtime to visit local shops or cafés, as Year 12 students are usually permitted to do. All students must return by 2:00pm for the final session of the day.
