In Year 10 students embark on their public examination courses and have the first chance to specialise by making four option choices.

Some of these options are for completely new subjects such as Photography, Media Studies and 3-D Art.

They are expected to become much more independent as they take on major coursework tasks and, in subjects such as Dance and Drama, create their own original performances in groups.

They even take some GCSE modules in Science which count towards their final grades.

Various exciting extra-curricular visits further enhance their experience such as Geography and History field trips and theatre visits.
