The unique focus for Y7 students is on the smooth transition from primary school to secondary school.

We aim to create an ethos and atmosphere where every child feels comfortable.

This involves creating a strong tutor group identity and a strong year group identity. 

Students are encouraged to make new friends and to this end they all will experience 3 days of living in close community at Oxenwood.

 

We also focus on creating a strong working ethos where students begin to become independent learners, with a clear understanding of the expectations in the classroom.
